Sequoia National Park

Den Sequoia National Park und seine Giant Redwood Bäume konnten wir uns nicht entgehen lassen. Eswar einfach verrückt, diese überdimensional großen Bäumen und den mit Schnee bedeckten Boden zu sehen, da wir erst vor wenigen Stunden im 50°C-heißen Tal des Todes vor uns hin bruzelten.

We couldn't miss the Sequoia National Park and its Giant Redwood Trees. It was absolutely crazy to see these tall trees and snow, while a few hours ago we were burning in the 50°C-heat in the Death Valley.

San Francisco

Eine City-und Hafentour mit Segways, im Hintergrund Alcatras. Durch die Stadt mit einem traditionellen 'Cable Car', die Straßen hoch und runter - das war schon abgefahren!
Yummie Cheesecake in der Cheesecakefactory, Sushi vom Feinsten und Sea Food bis zum Abwinken - einfach kulinarisch!
Erst Shoppingtour im Apple Store, dann über die faszinierende Golden Gate Bridge gefahren und später bei einem kühlen Bier im gemütlichen Sausalito abgehangen - Gott, kann es uns gut gehen!
Fazit: Egal was wir in San Francisco unternommen haben, unsere Erwartungen wurden jedes Mal übertroffen. San Fran ist der Hammer!

A City-and Harbourtour with Segways, in the distance Alcatras. With a tradditional cable car up and down the city centre - this was so wicked...ähm...awesome!

Yummie Cheesecake in the cheesecake factory, delicious Sushi and tasty sea food until the cows come home - mouth watering!

Shopping tour in an Apple store, driving over the Golden Gate Bridge and later relaxing in sunny Sausalito while having a refreshing beer - Life can be so great!

Conclusion: No matter what we have done in San Francisco, our expectations have been exceeded every time. San Fran rocks!

Alcatraz and Seagull

Grand Canyon

Die Rotorblätter rotieren, die Hitze flimmert in der Luft. Summend hob der Vogel endlich ab und stürzte sich in den Canyon hinunter. Adrenalin pur, denn wir sitzen drin!

The rotor blades of our helicopter rotate, the heat shimmers in the air. With humming engine the 'bird' takes off and finally plunges into the canyon. Adrenaline pure, because we sit in there!

Death Valley

Zwischenstopp Death Valley. Die Sonne brennt, nicht ganz perfekter Sonnenschutz und brennend heißer Wüstensand an unseren Füßen ... so schön, schön war die Zeit : )

Stopover Death Valley. The sun is burning, not quite perfect sun protection and burning hot desert sand on our feet ... what a beautiful day! :)
